Frankie Bridge joins forces with P&G and Superdrug to help raise £100,000 for Marie Curie

The Saturdays star and Strictly Come Dancing runner up, Frankie Bridge is making an appeal to people across the UK to support the Superdrug and P&G #FeelSuper Campaign, which hopes to raise at least £100,000 for Marie Curie in 2015.

From the 8th April to the 5th May inclusive, at Superdrug stores nationwide and at Superdrug.com, each time you buy any P&G product including brands like Max Factor, Olay, Gillette and Oral-B, you will trigger a donation to Marie Curie. 

Marie Curie is the UK’s leading charity for people living with any terminal illness, and their families.  Its nurses work night and day, providing hands-on care and vital emotional support in their homes, as well as offering specialist round-the-clock care in its hospices.   But the charity wants to go further and reach more people affected by a terminal illness.   The money raised through Frankie’s new FeelSuper campaign at Superdrug, will go a long way to helping even more people living with a terminal illness to get the most from the time they have left.

Frankie Bridge, P&G ambassador says, “Marie Curie is a really special charity which I’ve supported for many years so it’s wonderful to be able to continue to help this amazing cause through the FeelSuper campaign.  The great thing about this campaign is that it’s so easy to get involved and we’re not asking you to do anything over and above buying your everyday products at Superdrug.  It’s so simple, one product = one donation.

The money raised will enable Marie Curie to help more people living with a terminal illness and their families, which means all those little pick me ups like buying a new lipstick, or simply stocking up on the family toothpaste start to feel super because they are helping others too.

As a long term supporter of Marie Curie, Frankie has spent time at the Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull meeting nurses and the patients; she even helped officially open the new West Midlands Hospice with her fellow band mates in the presence of charity President, HRH Prince of Wales.

During my time supporting Marie Curie, I’ve met so many people who have been helped by the charity.  I’ve seen for myself how special Marie Curie nurses are and how important the support and care they provide can be in difficult times.  I hope that everyone will get behind the new campaign and help us make a difference to many more people.”
