A very big thank you to everyone who popped down to Westfield, London over the weekend of 20-22 November to help us raise funds for charity partner Make-A-Wish UK - the charity that grants wishes to seriously ill children and young people.

For the last 12 years Fairy has supported Make-A-Wish in the run up to Christmas as part of an integrated marketing partnership. Since the start of the partnership Fairy have donated over £1.2 million to help grant magical wishes.

In 2014 Fairy took on the challenge of breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest cake in support of the Make-A-Wish annual Bake-A-Wish fundraiser. The cake measured an enormous 12m x 10m and used 520kgs of flour and 8360 eggs! Fairy also washed up all 12,000 dirty plates with one bottle of Fairy!

Following on from last year’s epic achievement, this year Fairy was on the hunt for the Nation’s best festive cake recipe and ran a competition culminating in a bake-off of the finalists. The winning cake was then mass produced and took centre stage at a Giant Bake Sale.

We washed up just over 12,000 plates with just one 780ml bottle of Fairy and served up over 12,000 pieces of winning cake!

Rochelle Humes visited on Saturday to help.  "I had a lot of fun this weekend with Fairy raising lots of money for @makeawishuk The work they do for children and young people facing life threatening conditions is truly magical and I was honoured to be a part of it."
