P&G and employees at our Weybridge HQ were delighted to be able to donate £35,000 recently to Shooting Star Chase Children's Hospice Care to enable the refurbishment of Christopher's remembrance space, The Mistral Garden, which is now fully open.

The Mistral Garden is a special outside space at the charity's Guildford-based hospice where families whose child has died can go for tranquility, reflection and solace.  The donation has enabled the garden to be redesigned, landscaped, renovated and expanded under the direction of award-winning garden designer, Selina Botham.  The garden now features curved paths, lots of seating, a focal water feature and many plants, trees and flowers.

A key component of the garden are memory trees.  Bespoke copper sculptured memory trees were commissioned and are in place so that all bereaved families can place personalised, engraved leaves on the trees as a lasting memory.
