London, UK

Gillette, the world’s premier male grooming brand, is partnering with leading charity Movember for the third year with the aim of changing the face of men’s health, one Mo at a time.

With the support of names such as Olympian Greg Rutherford, Gillette ‘Man of Style’ Dan Rookwood, handpicked YouTubers and Mo Bros across the UK, Gillette aims to encourage guys to take part in Movember.

The campaign focus this year is ‘Made in Movember, Styled by Gillette’ with the aim of growing then styling the most impressive looking Mo using Gillette Fusion ProGlide Styler™  to encourage more people to donate money.  The brand will also be donating to Movember’s men’s health partners: Prostate Cancer UK and The Institute of Cancer Research.

Gillette ‘Man of Style’ Dan Rookwood has created a guide for guys wanting to groom their Mos, covering styles as diverse as The Ron, The Clarke Gable, and The Hogan. Dan commented “I’m really happy to be collaborating with Gillette again this year to support Movember. This year we’re encouraging men not just to grow a Mo, but to style it too. As Gillette's Man of Style, I’ll be on hand with advice on how to groom the right moustache for your face - it will completely change your look, so you need to choose your style wisely. The more impressive and stylish your Mo, the more people will donate. I hope that men unite in growing their moustaches to help raise money and awareness for a brilliant cause that has helped change the face of male health over the past 10 years.”

Gillette Brand Manager Jared Regan added “It’s fantastic to be supporting Movember again this year. Gillette is a brand with a long history of excellence and as key fundraising partner for Movember, it’s important to get the community involved for the greater good. This year, with the help of Greg and Dan, Gillette is not only asking guys to grow a Mo, but to grow and style the best Mo a man can get, in order to raise as much money as possible!”

Since the launch of Movember in 2003, over 4 million moustaches have been grown with over £346 million raised.

Notes to Editors:
Movember was established in 2003 by a group of friends in Melbourne, Australia. The goal was simple – to raise awareness for men’s health issues by promoting the growth of the moustache among like-minded people whilst having fun along the way. Movember now spans the globe, with campaigns in 21 countries in 2012. In 2011, over 850,000 Mo Bros and Mo Sistas raised over £79.3 million globally; with over £22 million of that coming from the UK.
